Since Brexit, new British arrivals are treated as non-EU nationals, but with a separate quota and the C permit after 5 years.

- Managers and specialists, priority for Swiss and EU workers; quota of 2,100 B and 1,400 L in 2026
- Service providers
- Up to 90 days per calendar year under the notification procedure (agreement until 31 December 2029)
- C permit
- After 5 years, depending on the canton (Geneva, Valais)
